From Travis:

My best friend moved into an apartment in Altoona, Pennsylvania. It was small but he managed to deal with it.

We had a party when he moved in and, not wanting to drive home, I stayed there overnight. I woke up the next morning and, finding my friend still asleep, I quietly shut and locked the door and started down the steps to begin my drive home. I suddenly realized that I had locked my car keys inside the apartment.

I knocked on the door to wake my friend up but he was dead to the world and didn't hear me. My next plan was to go to a pay phone and call him. As I was looking around for a pay phone, I thought I heard the door unlock. The door slowly opened. I walked up the steps into the apartment and looked for my friend - but he was still in his room - sound asleep!

I woke him up and thanked him for opening the door. With a puzzled look on his face, he told me he hadn't even been out of bed yet, much less unlocked the door.

That's not all.

A few weeks later we had another party in my friend's Altoona apartment. It was late and everybody left - except for me. Once again, I decided to spend the night and drive home the next morning. My friend retired to his room and I passed out on the couch in the living room.

I heard footsteps but didn't think anything of it. Then the hall light came on. It was bright - almost as bright as a spotlight. So I got up to go turn it off. When I approached the light switch, it clicked by itself and the light went off. I went to my friend's room to tell him about it. He made an insulting comment about my mental capacity and told me to go away and let him sleep.

It happened two more times. So I woke him up and told him to sleep on the couch and that I would sleep in his room. He agreed.

The next morning my friend told me had also seen the hall light go on and off. He also told me he had seen a little girl walking back and forth in the hallway - turning the light switch on and off.

That was seven years ago. After that one night, neither of us ever heard or saw the little girl again.
