I was 19 years old and working for a security company .

I worked in a high rise building, on third shift. There were about 27 floors to be checked.

One floor, the old "presidential floor," had been abandoned for many years. There were two guards on the job and one engineer.

It was our practice to completely check the building two times each night. One of us went through the building and the other stayed at the post .

it was a winter night when I was walking the 16th floor, the abandonded "presidential" floor and I walked through with my flashlight, makeing sure the floor was empty and that all lights were off.

I walked all around the floor and everything seemed normal - all lights were off. I was about to leave the floor when I turned around for one last glance.

I noticed there was a light on (it had been dark only a moment before) and I heard a faint voice saying "help me!"

I radioed down to my partner who told me there was no one in the building. So I called enginering and learned he was on break in the break room on the bottom floor. So I decided checked it out myself.

Suddenly, several more lights came on. I was completly freaked out. I once again turned off the lights on that floor and rushed down the stairs. As I was leaving I heard the voice again saying "please don't leave me."

My partner then went to check all floors as he did he came across the

16th floor, the "presidential" floor, and called me and asked, "why did you leav so many lights on?"

Since then there have been over 15 reports of this same incident. The floor is now considered haunted by all guards and is very swiftly checked (no one lingers longer than they have to) as it is our policy to make sure all floors are secured!
