From Kathy:

Close to 20 years ago, while my husband and I were visiting my parent's home, I was visited my the most friendly ghost. After we had finished our dinner, I stayed behind to finish drying a few dishes and the others moved on to the living room. I put away the last dish and turned to place the towel on the oven door when I saw a man dressed in clothing that appeared to be from the 1920's. He smiled, tipped his hat and bowed, as if to say hello, then waved his hand in a slow back and forth motion, as if to say good-bye. It was then that he slowly disappeared.

Even though the stranger's visit lasted at least 30 seconds, I wasn't quite sure if I had really seen him. Until . . . I noticed that my parents' dog was right beside me looking at the exact spot where the visitor had been. I believe she saw him too.
